At Pakefield Primary the pupils will be learning to understand and appreciate what art is and will be investigating the various ways of creating pictures and models for themselves.

Children experience a wealth of different materials including paint, clay, dough, wax and everyday materials.

The work of famous artists are studied and used to inspire the work of the children.

At Pakefield Primary we link art activities with:

In Years 1 to 4 we cover three of these areas each year. This year we are studying.
